A scaffolding partner you can build with.

We welcome repeat work, tender invitations and the chance to become a trusted part of your supply chain.

Housing, maintenance and occupied properties

Scaffolding for housing associations and their contractors.

Our work includes housing association and local authority projects. We understand the practical demands of maintaining occupied homes, coordinating several trades and keeping residents informed while essential work takes place.

We support housing maintenance contractors with access for planned repairs, roofing programmes, external decoration, refurbishment and property improvements. Shared entrances, resident access, parking, deliveries and phased work all form part of the conversation.

  • Resident awareness: considerate planning around homes, communal areas and everyday access.
  • Programme coordination: clear arrangements for erection, alterations, return visits and dismantle.
  • Flexibility when plans change: practical discussion of revised dates and access needs, with agreed changes communicated clearly.

The right support for your team

From principal contractors to local builders.

A large programme and a single property both depend on getting access right. We adapt our approach to your team, the building and the work ahead.

Tier 1, principal and main contractors

We welcome enquiries from contractors seeking a dependable scaffolding subcontractor for construction, refurbishment and planned maintenance. Talk to us about your programme, procurement process, site rules and supply chain requirements.

We will work with your team to establish the scope, working levels, loading needs, delivery arrangements and reporting expectations before attendance.

Commercial scaffolding support

Building surveyors and property managers

Scaffold access for building surveys, condition inspections, defect investigations and the repair work that follows. We help you plan practical access to roofs, chimneys, elevations and internal areas so the relevant workface can be reached.

For managed buildings and property portfolios, we discuss occupation, access restrictions, inspection requirements and the sequence of follow-on trades.

Discuss survey and inspection access

Small builders and specialist trades

Independent builders, roofers, solar panel installers, painters, decorators, renderers and maintenance firms are an important part of the work we do.

Whether you need chimney access, a working lift for external painting or scaffolding for an extension, you receive the same personal attention and practical planning.

Roof and chimney access

Homeowners and domestic customers

We make scaffolding straightforward for homeowners organising repairs, renovations and improvements. Tell us what work is planned, and we can coordinate access with you and your builder, roofer or installer.

We consider entrances, driveways, gardens and neighbouring boundaries, with clear communication about what to expect.

Domestic scaffolding

Safety is part of our workmanship

Care in the planning. Pride in the scaffold.

Health and safety is a genuine priority at BlackFox. We care about the people erecting the scaffold, the trades using it and everyone around the site.

That commitment informs the access arrangement, working platforms, site coordination and information handed over to the client. We take pride in well-presented scaffolding that supports the job it was provided for.

  • Competence and supervision

SafeContractor SSIP and CISRS scaffolders support our approach, alongside appropriate planning and supervision for the work involved.

  • TG20:21 and the right design route

Tube and fitting scaffolds are planned against TG20:21 where the arrangement falls within its scope. Work outside a recognised standard configuration needs a bespoke design by a competent person.

  • Clear information throughout the works

Project-specific RAMS, handover records and agreed inspection and alteration arrangements help everyone understand the scaffold and their responsibilities.

Explore our TG20:21 guide, RAMS guidance and HSE scaffolding guidance for more on planning, competence and inspection.

Easy to talk to. Committed to the job.

Good relationships start with good communication.

You should feel comfortable calling us with a question, a change of plan or a new opportunity. We listen, explain the options and keep the conversation practical.

Call or email us, or text your usual BlackFox contact. We aim to respond promptly and, where possible, also reply outside normal working hours. If something needs checking, we will work through it with you and make the next step clear.

We are flexible, approachable and willing to go the extra mile to make a working relationship succeed.

Can you support our contractor onboarding?

Yes. Send your supplier questionnaires, required documents and site standards at the enquiry stage. We will review them with you and provide the relevant information for your approval process.

What if we need a particular accreditation?

Tell us which accreditation, training or approval your contract requires. We will confirm what is already in place and, where additional requirements apply, discuss the steps and timescales needed before the work starts. We are committed to developing the right working relationship.

Can you adapt when the programme changes?

We understand that site conditions, trade sequences and client priorities can change. Contact us early so we can review the revised access needs, agree practical attendance and alteration arrangements, and keep everyone informed.

Do you take on small and domestic jobs?

Yes. We welcome homeowners, small builders and independent trades alongside larger contractors. From a chimney repair or solar panel installation to external decoration, we plan the access around your particular job.

What should we send for a quotation or tender?

Send the site address, scope of work, photographs or drawings, access requirements and proposed dates. For contractor enquiries, include your specification, programme, resident or site restrictions and any onboarding requirements. We can then review the brief and arrange the next step.

Local knowledge. Connected delivery.

We serve homeowners, housing teams, surveyors and contractors across Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Greater London and Central London. Send your full site address so we can discuss coverage and attendance for your project.
